I have been a gamer since the mid-1990s, and enjoy many different types of video game. I have worked professionally within the industry (ChangYou.com), and in various community management capacities for the game Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun. I also have some gaming achievements that rank me highly on global leaderboards. 

C&C Tiberian Sun

My involvement with the Tiberian Sun (TS) community started in 1999.  Over the years I have worked as a moderator, global moderator and administrator on a number of TS forums including:

I also worked as official game admin for Strike-Team (xwis), the group that runs the gaming servers for Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun, and Red Alert 2. As part of my role I was responsible for monitoring cheat reports on the Strike-Team forums, and had full admin powers to issue warnings and even bans to players caught cheating, or breaking the Strike-Team rules.

During my time involved with TS, I amassed many thousands of posts and private messages with players. This gave me a great deal of experience not just in forum software functionality and moderator functions, but also in directly dealing with members of the community in a fair, balanced and professional manner. I also produced a 60-page guide to TS, as well as numerous strategy articles written in forums across the years. I also ran a Tiberian Sun blog which I used to help boost SEO and point players towards the main community forum.

Tian Long Ba Bu (TLBB)

TLBB (also known as ‘Dragonoath’ in the US) is a F2P Martial Arts / Fantasy MMORPG set in Ancient China. During my time working as Content Writer for ChangYou.com (EU) I worked closely with the Community Manager, integrating myself with the EU server community, talking with players, and also working as a global moderator in the EU forum. I also helped to run twice-weekly community events, and created compelling story content that actively featured members of the community in order to build a richer and more exciting gaming experience for the players.
