I really can’t believe we’re in April already! It only seems like yesterday I was writing my last journal post on how I was about to start my new job, and here we are, more than a few months later in APRIL! I really do wonder where the time goes sometimes!
So, what’s been happening in the world of Mike recently then? Well, for a start, I am soon to be moving to sunny Whitstable to be closer to work.

Life’s a funny ol’ thing. It’s been more than a few weeks now since I last wrote a blog. Other than being ridiculously busy with family commitments etc., the main reason I haven’t been able to write as much as I’d like is because I’ve started a new job!
In August I accepted the job working as a Writer / Journalist for EK Communications – a dental PR company based in Whitstable.

Regular readers of my website will be aware that I have something of a love-hate relationship with Raymond E. Feist. His early works inspired me to start writing, while his later works have left me wondering just where it all went wrong. His latest book At the Gates of Darkness certain falls in the latter of the two camps I’m afraid to say, and its editing is just so poor in places I felt compelled to write a blog.
