A Careless Thought
The hypocrisy of some people never fails to rile me. I was sitting in the park when I wrote this one.
A careless thought to see a park,
When nature's warm and bright,
Though none so eager when it suits them,
Oft denied, fantastic sight. In bleak midwinter cold and lonesome,
Nature's creatures rest their head,
Though nature lingers time immortal,
Nature's friends are all in bed.
