Change to Blue Change to Green Change to Purple Change to Ochre

Interesting Times...

Well it’s certainly been an interesting few weeks. In the time since my last blog not only have I managed to make some progress with my new book and (hopefully) some progress with my publication project, but I’ve also started a new job!

As of just under two weeks ago, I am officially employed as a Content Writer working for ChangYou.com on the MMO Tian Long Ba Bu (TLBB). It’s certainly been a busy few weeks I can tell you, and that’s not even taking into account the stresses of my new MA, and the ever-present shadow of my publishing project!

The plan for the next few weeks is to spend my weekday evenings either reading or doing uni work, while next weekend I plan to dedicate some much needed time to the task of getting on with The Darkest Hour and hopefully getting round to doing some website updates.

Unfortunately what with the new job and the fact I now spend a good eight hours of every day sitting at a computer, when I come home in the evenings I am naturally not so inclined to want to sit at a P.C. again and write even more.

If things go well with my self-publication project I hope to be able to bring you some news in the coming week as to my progress.

Hopefully by then I might have regained some sanity!

Until next time,

M.J.Ryder

The Social Network

I'm sorry to say that after all my great excitement at getting invited to the preview screening of 'The Social Network' I didn't make it in the end. Annoyingly, my potential (and now current) landlord decided to schedule my 'interview' at a time just an hour before the viewing so I finished in Northfields pretty much at the same time the movie began. Hopefully there will be more opportunities to review films in the future.
