A Reviewer's Life

I know I say this quite often, but it’s a funny ol’ world.

A few blogs ago now I mentioned receiving a ‘Cameron or Clegg?’ flick-book to review. Having added the aforementioned flick-book to my blog and shared the appropriate links and so forth, the lovely people at PGUK offered to send me a number of ‘proper’ books to review.

Naturally, I was more than pleased to accept their kind offer, and was pleasantly surprised the other day to receive a package of four books through the post, plus a selection of posters to offer as prizes.

As soon as I’ve completed my reading for this term’s university module, I hope to start working on the reviews.

I’ll let you know how it goes!

Until next time,

MJR

The tower looms large…

Christmas is always an exciting time for me, not least because afterwards I get the chance to do the main bulk of my year’s book shopping. Sadly, I do still have the odd book left over from last year, and what with the number of books I have to read both for uni, and now my book reviews, I find myself with quite the pile of books looming ominously beside my bed. But fear not my friends! I shall tackle this mighty task before me as I always do: with fierce stoicism and countless hours spent locked away in my room. Now if only I wasn’t so tired…
